To provide our customers quick prototyping services, SRT has a rapid prototyping capability. SRT’s 3D Printer is based on a 3D computer aided design (CAD) model that is sliced into thin layers by mathematical means. Some specific prototyping devices generate these layers physically and join them to a three-dimensional model. SRT is able to create high-quality working ABS models from 3D files.
Rapid Prototyping results in fewer design changes, better product designs, lower prototyping costs, and a quicker time to market. Parts can be produced in 3~4 days Vs. 3~6 weeks for an actual part and at a fraction of the cost.
