Technical Support Services
SRT’s Technical Support Services staff are highly experienced in satellite and wireless 802.11 products and services including collection, backhaul operations and training. The Tech Services team performs a diverse range of duties. Drawing from a vast array of technical and operational experiences, the team is able to contribute to the company’s products from the early design phase - all the way thru customer training and development. Technical Services has the unique role of being able to test and use the products in practical and realistic environments. After testing in various scenarios, feedback on the design and functionality of the products is provided to the design teams and engineers for consideration to improve overall product capabilities.
The Technical Support Services department consists of several units; Quality Assurance, TARFU Marine, RF Technicians, and Field Technicians. Each unit contributes different expertise and assets to testing of SRT’s products. The units work together to create relevant exercises. These excercises are designed to create realistic scenarios based on the customer’s requirements. Technical Services assures our customer’s that the equipment they purchase has been designed and tested to their specific needs.
Test and Evaluation
Technical Support Services provides a crucial role in developing all of SRT’s products. Field experience and operation knowledge is brought to the earliest design phases of tactical products. Throughout a product’s development life cycle, it is constantly brought to the field and run through intensive and realistic scenarios. Technical Services accommodates testing on several platforms. Ground assets include a large test van equipped with secure communications, versatile antenna configurations and ample space for equipment. Airborne testing can also be accommodated in fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
